Blues On The Move... To Homestead Red!

Green-tings Green-Lings and Green-Wings!

Why? Why are Blues on the move to homestead Red instead? Red states; run by conservative Red leaders... like Governor Greg Abbott of Texas and Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida... are welcoming refugees fleeing California and New York as well as other Blue states. Why? Because while Blue states are floundering and failing... Red states are simply flourishing! It is just a fact and especially in these modern times... is always true! Red states thrive and rise into the black... while Blue states seem to strive to dive into the red! Hahaha! The Bible will not be denied! "Both Blue states and Red... You have reaped what you have sown... and sown what you have said!"

However, if you are among the Blue movers... and you bring your Loser Blue views with you; odds are... you won't like it in whatever... "Red State" you choose! Take your cue from former Blue man... Leo Terrell; also affectionately known as... Leo 2.0. Actually Leo 2.0, reminds this green prophet a lot... of the Apostle Paul. Why? Because just like the Apostle Paul... Mr. Leo Terrell was very passionate about what he believed... because he truly believed that what he truly believed... was the truth! But just as when Paul was still Saul of Tarsus; and was shown the error of his ways... Mr. Leo Terrell too... came to the realization that the wider way he was walking was wrong! They both in keeping with their true character... did a 180! Both men changed their mind-sets; giving birth to The Apostle Paul and Leo 2.0! Both men changed their mind-set, but not their passion! They both simply applied it to the straighter and narrower way!

Here are some more examples of individuals who changed their mind-sets and in the opinion of this green prophet... did right to move from the Left to the Right or did not to move from the Right to the Wrong through out our history; as were found on Constitution Daily.

On the Republican Party's 161st birthday; Constitution Daily looked at Republicans who were once Democrats... like (Ronald Reagan), Democrats who used to be Republicans... like former Barry Goldwater supporter... (Hillary Clinton) and two Presidents who changed parties under different circumstances.

The whole notion of political parties was looked down upon by the Founding Fathers, but Alexander Hamilton, and his later rival Aaron Burr, played roles in creating the adversarial party system. The Federalist party was the first party in the United States. Under Alexander Hamilton, it dominated the national government from 1789 to 1801. It became a minority party while keeping its stronghold in New England and made a brief resurgence by opposing the War of 1812.

On July 11, 1804... due to the on going insults of Alexander Hamilton towards then Vice President Aaron Burr... Alexander Hamilton was challenged by Vice President Aaron Burr, to a gentleman's duel. Back in the day, a gentleman's duel was done with traditional pistols. Aaron Burr, avenged his honor and Alexander Hamilton died from his injury the following day. It is this prophets contention that Aaron Burr's intention was to wound and not to kill. This is supported by the fact that Alexander Hamilton did not die until the following day. It is likely that what then passed as "medical treatment" is what really killed him.

You know; if today's political disputes were still settled the same way... this green prophet is quite confident that the 2020 Election would have concluded as it did election night; and the cowardly Left... would be a lot more careful about what baseless, groundless and tasteless things they said about the Right. Especially given that the Left are dead-set against the 2nd Amendment... and the Right being all in on the 2nd Amendment... are likely much more firearm proficient. Hahaha! Oh well... wishful thinking.

Note: As usual... this green prophet disagrees with the woke folk. He believes that Will Smith was justified in his actions at the Oscars. Chris Rock should have checked with Will Smith to see if the subject was too sensitive to poke fun at. Chris Rock was even warned! Will Smith's expletive outrage was a pretty big hint! But, Chris Rock's ego... would not let it go! So... once Will Smith stood up and started walking... something was going to have to be done! Considering the difference in size, the fact Will Smith portrayed the heavy weight boxing G.O.A.T. Mohmmad Ali, in the major motion picture, Ali... and could easily have done some real damage, he showed great restraint... in defense of his beloved wife, Jada. Freedom of Speech... was never intended to mean the freedom to say anything! Chris Rock's so-called comedic comments were callous and thoughtless! He deserved much worse! Now back to much less recent history.

By 1856, when the Republicans replaced the Whigs as the second major national party, movement between parties became more commonplace. Today, when a significant public figure changes parties, the move becomes national news! In some other cases, famous people switched parties before they became famous.

Once again, as was taken from Constitution Daily, here is a look at 10 major figures who decided to change parties at some point.

John Tyler: When John Tyler became President after President William Henry Harrison's death in 1841; he was soon disowned by his own party; the Whigs, and expelled from the party while in office. Tyler did not join the Democrats; so he was a "President without a Party".

Hannibal Hamlin: OK; you Woke folk! Read this part very carefully and many times! Maybe, it will help you Woke folk... Wake Up! Hannibal Hamlin was President Abraham Lincoln's first Vice President. Hannibal Hamlin was a life-long Democrat who switched parties after 1856; when he did not agree with the pro-slavery position taken by many of his fellow Democrat party members. Because of Hannibal Hamlin's convictions on the issue of slavery... his defection to the Republican Party... made national headlines.

Theodore Roosevelt: Roosevelt served nearly 2 full presidential terms as a progressive Republican. But after he grew dissatisfied with his "hand-picked" successor, William Howard Taft, Roosevelt left the 1912 Republican convention and formed his own party. The Progressive Party; was also referred to as... The Bull Moose Party. Sometime after Roosevelt lost his bid for a third term in office, he later returned to the GOP. Hahaha! Theodore Roosevelt may have been the first real... political Flip-Flopper!

Wendell Willkie: Who? The 1940 Republican presidential candidate was a delegate at the 1932 Democratic convention. But he officially left the Democrats in 1939; after a dispute with the Franklin Roosevelt administration.

Ronald Reagan: Yes! Reagan, was also originally a Democrat and a New Deal supporter; who became a union leader in Hollywood. Reagan, switched parties officially in 1962 and gave his famous quote: "I didn't leave the Democrat Party. The Party left me." This was so... Reagan!

This green prophet says... Thank GOD the Dems disappointed Reagan and that Reagan revitalized the Right... while literally saving the U. S. of A.! Much like Trump did from 2016 to 2020! Only better! After all, Trump had Reagan's play book! Using 20-20 hindsight... Trump just took Reagan's play book, dusted it off, injected it with steriods and coveted all credit for the grand results. Considering all those like this prophet, who respected and revered President Ronald Reagan... not a great reelection move. Reagan was The Great Communicator; Trump wrote The Art of the Deal; he should have been known as The Great Negotiator. But with too much ego, too little sleep and no humility... he was instead... The Great Infuriat-or! That is 20-20 hindsight this prophet hopes he learns from.

But why better, you ask? Because in addition to being a great actor... Ronald Reagan was a great politician! He was both the best California Governor and the greatest President of the 20th century... and so far no one has beaten him in the 21st! This is not opinion, it is the truth... No Ifs, ands or buts! Do you know how you measure the greatness of a modern day President? How you measure the love and respect "We the People" had for said Commander and Chief? Simple; you look at how long "We the People" want to continue the policies of the man. So then, with the endorsement of Ronald Reagan... George Herbert Walker Bush became the 41st President of the United States! If only he had continued in Reagan's well established foot steps and If he had never used the campaign slogan... "Read my lips, no new taxes!" he likely would have won twice! Trump could still be second If... he runs again and wins; and If he can learn when to get out of his own way! No surprise to this green prophet that Trump was born under the Chinese zodiac sign of the dog. Hahaha! Well former President Trump; If you want to be President again... you had better be willing to learn some new tricks!

OK; Moving On!

Strom Thurmond: He ran as a segregationist candidate for President in 1948; and then served in the U. S. Senate in the 1950's. By 1964, Thurmond switched to the Republican Party in the middle of the Civil Rights battle! Most Democrats sided with the Lyndon B. Johnson administration, against... The Civil Rights Movement!

Elizabeth Dole: She served in the Johnson administration in the 1960's as a Democrat. But Elizabeth Dole remained with the Nixon administration; and switched parties in 1975; before her husband, Bob Dole, joined Gerald Ford on the 1976 GOP presidential ticket. What a surprise... a shift of convenience and not conviction.

Hillary Clinton: In 1964, a very young Hillary Rodham, was one of the "Goldwater Girls"; who campaigned for the Arizona Republican. She officially became a Democrat later in the 1960's; after she attended the 1968 GOP convention. Hmmm; what did they say... to put the permanent burr under her?

Leon Panetta: Panetta started out in politics as a Republican and he worked briefly in the Nixon administration. He switched parties in 1971 over concerns about the Civil Rights policies of the Nixon administration. Real history records, President Richard Milhouse Nixon; was yet another Republican defender of the Civil Rights battle. This is depicted in perpetuity by the famous June 13. 1957 photo of Dr. Martin Luther King and then Vice President Nixon shaking hands in mutual support.

Elizabeth Warren: Believe it or not; the current ultra-liberal icon started political life as a conservative who voted Republican because of the party's pro-business stance; and she didn't switch to the Democrat Party until the mid-1990's. That's when she figured out that there was then, and is again, more money to be made under the table as a Demoncrat in politics... than she could possibly make as easily in business.

You know fellow Green-Lings and Green-Wings; this green prophet does know of one more famous party changer. Can you guess? Yes! It is Donald J. Trump! The truth is Trump's political party affiliation has changed more than once! More than twice! Donald J. Trump; registered as a Republican in 1987, and switched to then Presidential candidate, Ross Perot's newly formed... Reform Party in 1999. He then changed over to the Democrat Party in 2001; and back to the Republican party in 2009. Wow! What goes around really does come around! Hahaha!

Well; there are 2 things this green prophet is sure of. The so called Orange Man... will remain Red; and those on the Left fleeing Blue states, will keep moving to the Red states; and if they really love their families... eventually to the Right. ; -)
