Cuomo's Quicksand... and Karma!

According to an online article by Claudia Hammond in 2016... Death by quicksand... is an old school favorite of B-Movie directors. Hey... we have all seen the old flicks. A man is trapped in quicksand! He is yelling for anyone possible to help! But the more he struggles, the more he is sucked into the oatmeal like ooze! If he is a good guy... help usually arrives in time. If he is bad or just not germane to the story-line... help shows up too late... and only his hat remains. Hey, there was almost always a hat!

There have been so many films featuring death by quicksand, that Slate journalist Daniel Engbar; has even tracked (the peak quicksand years in film). In the 1960's; 1 in 35 films featured quicksand. They were in everything from Lawrence of Arabia to... The Monkees!

The truth is quicksand usually consists of sand or clay and salt that have in fact, become water-logged. Quick sand often occurs in river deltas, swamps or marshes also known as bogs... hence the term bogged down.

The ground looks like the ground you just previously stepped off of; completely solid! But it is not! When you set foot on its surface... and apply your weight... down you go! Wow! It sounds like you really know this... from experience! Yes.

Fellow Green-Lings and Green-Wings... as a teenager in Michigan; this green prophet really enjoyed the solace... of hunting alone. But it is never recommended that when hunting... you do so alone. Here is one reason why.

On a very rare occasion when not hunting alone... but while separated from his hunting buddy... this prophet to this day remembers stepping onto ground that looked exactly like the ground he had just stepped off of. But as his weight was applied... something was wrong! First his foot disappeared and an instant later... he was in it up to his hip! This was not typical quicksand! This was Michigan mire! It looks solid because green moss is growing in it and dead leaves are laying on it. So with one leg completely gone... and the other leg still on solid ground this green prophet was stuck and helpless!

If he had been hunting alone as he preferred... as this was (late) fall in Michigan! He could have easily died of exposure from freezing to death overnight! But almost miraculously for once... he was hunting with a friend! Knowing this, he did not panic. He simply called out to his friend, until his friend found him. Then moments after some mutual laughter... he was free!

When for now still Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo; was first accused of sexual harassment... this green prophet knew... he had just stepped into it with both feet! Then he smiled; Lady Karma had just paid Cuomo a long overdue visit... and like most unwanted guests... she was not going away soon!

This was not dog dung on the bottom of his shoe he could just scrape off, as he had done so many times in the past! No! This was quicksand! Cuomo, had unwittingly stepped into it with both feet and all of his weight! Like the headstrong stubborn bull-y that he is... he thought he could get out on his own! But the more he fought... the more he was caught... and the more stuck he got! Unlike the old B movies... although he will eventually sink into oblivion... until that time he is simply on display... for all to see him... for exactly what he is.

Now those who would otherwise fear him... jeer him. ; -)

One is left to wonder, with so much licentiousness on the Left's ledger... Who will Lady Karma visit next? Not Joe! Lady Karma visited Joe already! Think about it. Ole geriatric Joe has been in politics for almost 50 years. Just Biden his time! Hahaha! He had been plagiarizing, plotting and planning. Thirteen years ago he got one rung from the top! That was before Trump! Now... although Ole Joe has somehow finally arrived; He really seems just barely alive! Hahaha! Karma-ed by the Lady!

About what is called karma; the Bible says this in Galatians 6:7... "Be not deceived, GOD is not mocked; for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap." You are probably familiar with the USA paraphrase. What goes around; Comes around! Only good advise... when you don't learn it... too late.

Update: August 3rd 20 and 21: As this green prophet predicted and stated... earlier in this Post published at the end of March: "Lady Karma had just paid Cuomo a long overdue visit... and like most unwanted guests... she was not going away soon!" Just goes to show... Lady Karma always holds the winning hand. She chooses how much it is going to cost, before She plays it. Well... She has finally laid down her cards. In Cuomo's case as predicted... It cost him... Everything!
