The prophet Behind The purview... Part 2

One of this green prophets favorite movies is Armageddon! Hahaha! Ironic; isn't it? There are many reasons for this. One, is that apart from the scene in Forest Gump; when Tom Hanks is asking Jenny if his son is smart or is he like him; the movie Armageddon, has the best no or almost no script scenes this prophet has ever seen! Hahaha! This prophet likes plays on words.

Yes; there are two such extraordinary scenes... and they are both done by the same extraordinary actor; Will Patton. If you are familiar with the movie you probably now might know the scenes.

The 1st; is Chick Chapple; realizing possibly for the first time in his life... that his gambling is worth nothing... compared to his son. It is the look on his face when he first sees his son, so long after his divorce... just before he says; "He got big".

Of course the 2nd; is on the tarmac, upon his triumphant return... and he first sees his now proud son... running to him! It is amazing! Even thinking about it now... it gets to me a little. That is acting!

Actually; there are 2 difficult things to do in acting. The first is merely difficult. The second... is extraordinarily so. One; to get the people watching to laugh on cue. The second is oh so much harder... to get people to cry on cue. Will Patton in Armageddon; makes this prophets eyes watery... every time. Much like Tom Hanks; he does it with no or almost no dialogue.

What does this have to do with "The prophet Behind The purview... Part 2"? Patience my minute minded Millennials. We'll get there. Armageddon was an epic modern day movie with an epic modern day plot... "The End of the World"!

Who did Keith David, another great actor, playing General Kinsey, want to get to save the world? The same people many of (our past) leaders would pick...The best of the best of course!

Who did Billy Bob Thornton; the self-made star similar to Stallone who portrayed NASA Project Director, Dan Truman pick? He went with worst of the best! If the 2 oil drilling crews that went... would have had to fill out resumes to go... Those potential crews would have been round filed right away!

The Bible clearly states in the Old Testament and again in the New Testament; that in "the last days" there will be prophets. This green prophet has given you the only known modern definition of a prophet for today in "The GOD Odds" post. When you have read everything on this site... you should conclude that this green prophet... more than matches the definition's description.

But of course there is another much more important consideration. Who would GOD choose? Well... let's take a look and see. Who would GOD; choose to use? According to the New Testament... 1 Corinthians... chapter 1... verses 25 through 28... HE would be inclined to choose someone just like me.

This is from The King James Bible. For those of you who are afraid of Elizabethan English; allow this green prophet to educate you. Both Ye and Thee mean you. Any time you see a word with a th at the end you don't think should be there... mentally remove it. There Ye can now read The King James Bible. Hahaha! Congratulations.

Verse 26. "For ye see your calling brethren, that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called:

Verse 27. But GOD hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and GOD hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Verse 28. And the base things of the world, and the things which are despised, hath GOD chosen, and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are: GOD also likes to use plays on words.

Fellow Green-Lings and Green-Wings; You have just read the resume... of (a green prophet)!

About 13 years ago... this now green prophet was a Christian homeless Vet; living in a tent. Late one very hot summer afternoon in 2010, he met some people from Kenneth Copeland Ministries giving out food and pamphlets. Having not eaten all day; he got in line. In fact, this future green prophet was the last guy in line. Upon learning he was a Christian, all of the people there ministering, gathered around him to pray. When asked why... they said, "We have to get you off the street!" When asked why... they said; "You don't belong here! GOD does not want you here!" "Yes HE does." "No HE doesn't!" "Yes HE does." "How can you believe that?" "Because I am here... and my GOD does not make mistakes. And when I have learned all HE has me here to learn... GOD will make my way of escape. Until then... I am here."

Less than a month later... that prophesy came to pass. A woman never seen before; drove directly up to my tent... which was not on a road; got out of her little white car with government plates and said... "I am looking for homeless Vets; so I can help get them housing." Ta-Da!!!

The research about some of the posts that are now here for you to read... for example, the posts about alligators and pythons in Florida; and the post concerning HFCS; came while this green prophet was still a homeless Vet; and were done at the down-town public library.

Who better meets the criteria of 1 Corinthians 1:25 through 28... than an over 60 year old somewhat disabled former homeless Vet... who is a Christian? There is more to the story, but for now... you know enough.

One last question must be asked. Of course, the question that must be asked... is why? Why would GOD choose to use the kind of person described in 1 Corinthians; no one else on the face of the Earth would choose to use? The crystal clear answer... is in the next verse. Where the period finally comes.

Verse 29. That no flesh should glory in HIS presence. ; -)
